clarry pony
Well we had a great response to our book competition, which ended the 28th February, 2007, with entries from around the world and a large number from Australia, although the entries from New Zealand were the majority. Thank you very much to all who participated. Congratulations to Natasha McDonald, Australia, Ryan Bolton, NZ, and for the best overall entry, Alice Leonard, NZ, and finally the parents/grandparents entry, Claire, NZ.

Competition Details: If you would like to win a free copy of Albert Magpie and Timothy Rabbit in Clarry's Lost Pony Tail, and either a teddy bear or wall clock which have the lovable characters from the book on them, this is what you do.

Click on Entry Form. Once that page opens fill out your name, e-mail address
and country carefully by clicking then typing in the boxes provided in the form. Then type a sentence or two in the competition box as to why you like to read books. Or, you can E-mail Shirley, again making sure you type your name, e-mail address, country and why you like reading books, in the e-mail before sending. Kids make sure you have your parents permission first!

For the best overall entry there is a copy of the book plus a choice of a teddy bear or wall clock with the lovable characters from the book on them. You can view the teddy bear and wall clock from the links on the 'Clothes & Stuff' page of this Web site. There are also a further three copies of the book to give away. One copy for children living in New Zealand, one copy for children who live in an overseas country, and one copy for the best parents/grandparents entry. Competition closes on the 31st of October, 2007. The chosen entries will be announced on the 8th of November, 2007.
